Using Afrogrants
Afrogrants lets you discover grant opportunities and apply for them. You need an account to apply; browsing open grants does not. You must give accurate information — applications containing false details can be rejected, and grants already paid can be withdrawn and recovered.
Your account
Keep your login details private; you are responsible for activity under your account. One person, one account. Your profile photo, date of birth, NIN, and bank details are required so we can verify who is applying and pay grants to the right person.
Applications and fees
Some grants carry an application fee, shown clearly before you pay. Fees cover processing and are generally non-refundable once an application has been submitted for review, unless a grant's own terms say otherwise. Submitting an application does not guarantee an award.
Grant payments
If you are selected, your grant is paid into the bank account saved in your profile at the time you submitted the winning application. It is your responsibility to keep those details accurate and in your own name. We may pause a payment to verify details.
Acceptable use
Do not impersonate anyone, submit applications on behalf of others without authorisation, attempt to manipulate the platform or payment process, or upload content you have no right to share.
